This is an English translation, provided so you can read it. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version is the legally binding one.

These terms apply to the use of vidha.eu and the free services it offers: reading the notes, subscribing to the newsletter, and the contact form.

The nature of the site

VIDHA is a personal writing project. No healthcare, therapeutic or individual psychological consultancy services are provided through this site. All content is freely and openly accessible.

What's published here is informative and educational. It is in no case a substitute for the professional care of a licensed clinical psychologist, psychotherapist or psychiatrist.

Newsletter

Subscribing to the newsletter is free and voluntary. Roughly one letter a month is sent to the address provided.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the foot of every email, or by writing to vidha@vidha.eu. Signing up implies no obligation and creates no contractual relationship.

Contact form

The contact form is for writing directly to the author of the site. Messages are read and answered when possible, with no commitment to a specific timescale.

It isn't a channel for psychological or clinical care. If your message describes a crisis or a situation of risk, please contact professional services. In Spain you can call 024 (suicide prevention line) or 112 (emergencies); if you're elsewhere, there's a list of places that can help right now.

Acceptable use

Users undertake to use this site in accordance with the law and with good faith. In particular, they will not use the site to:

• Distribute unlawful, violent or discriminatory content, or content that infringes the rights of others.
• Introduce computer viruses or anything that could damage the system.
• Impersonate others.
• Access unauthorised areas.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms when necessary. The date of the last update appears at the top of the document.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. Any dispute will be submitted to the courts of the consumer's domicile, or to those of Vitoria-Gasteiz if the user is not acting as a consumer.
